Sewage sampling device mounted on miniature mobile robot capable of obviating injury to operator in high-pollution hostile environment


El siguiente dispositivo de muestreo de aguas residuales está montado sobre un mini robot móvil teledirigido. en el artículo correspondiente a este resumen se detallan además de sus componentes, las condiciones bajo las que puede operar este aparato.


A wastewater sampling device mounted on a miniature tele-operated mobile robot is comprised of: a water pump; a transparent, closed container; a mech. arm; and a second camera head to image an accident site and monitor the vol. of wastewater to be sampled, where the second camera head is positioned on the back side of the transparent closed container.  Sample and guide pipes are installed on the water pump.  The sample pipe has one end connected to the water pump inlet and the other end bonded to the mech. arm.  The guide pipe has one end connected to the water pump outlet and the other end connected to the transparent closed container; a first camera head is installed on the mech. arm.  This app. can sample wastewater in hostile, highly polluted environments, e.g., an accident site with chem. leaks and industrial wastewater pollution; it uses the miniature tele-operated mobile robot as a platform to enter the accident site instead of an operator to prevent operator injury.
