New portable instrument for the continuous automatic collection of water samples

Una buena muestra de la importancia que tiene mejorar y facilitar las técnicas de muestreo desde hace ya mucho tiempo es la invención, a principios de los años 60, de un dispositivo que facilita este proceso. Dicho dispositivo consta de una bomba de pistón portátil.

A portable, dry-battery-driven piston pump for continuous sampling from sewers or streams is described.  There are only 2 moving parts in the self-cleaning assembly.
